The House mouse is furry home invader that often comes into people houses/businesses when it cools down over Autumn.
They can move in groups, so that one day you have none, and the next you have a small posse running around your home.
Mice are very predictable as they need two things, warmth and food. Once inside your home the quickly find their way to your kitchen. Looking for warmth they can always be found behind the fridge or freezer. Another favourite is under the kitchen sink behind the kick boards. Being here allows them to access the dishwasher for scraps of food but also safety. They know you can't get them in that spot.
From behind the kitchen kick boards, they have access to the walls via the pipes and wires running into the wall. From there they can sometimes getting into ceiling cavities.
Once in the house, they start to eat your food. This is sometimes obvious as there is damage to packaging and/or split food. This is called spoilage and it can get quite costly, as you have to throw away your damaged food.
Mostly mice invade your home in two ways. For older homes such as Villas, they come in from under the house through the gaps around the pipes in the floors. This brings them right into your kitchen. Hey presto, food and warmth, just what they were looking for. For newer homes they enter under or on the side of the garage door. From there, when all is quiet at night they find their way to the kitchen. When accessible they also can be found on or around the hot water cylinders.
Uncommonly mice can enter your home through trees touching the roof line.

Successful mice control requires an inspection to acquire three key areas. These key areas are access points, trails and nests. Once these three key areas are found we use them to quickly remove your mice. Of course, we will exclude you, your family and pets from our controls. Your mice will quickly be controlled and leave your home or business.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
The time it takes to do a job depends on the size of the home or business and what's involved. A three bedroom home takes an average of 40-60 minutes.
Some jobs may take longer, especially businesses, depending on what needs to be done.
IS IT SAFE?
At ACES pest control we use exclude you, your family and pets from controls. Or we use controls in an excluded areas where you dont have access to.
Mice themselves present a much greater risk to your safety than our controls, as they spread disease. At night time mice run over your kitchen bench and eat your food, spreading disease and increasing the chance of you and your family becoming ill. An uncontrolled mouse infestation may result in you and your family becoming seriously ill!
DIY MOUSE CONTROL DOES IT WORK?
Doing DIY you're up against it with mice! DIY baits are often not palatable to the rodents. This often results in the mice not taking enough of the bait and dying inside your home or business. And traps, you have clear them yourself. Who likes doing that?
And there are often a lot of mice. Can you be certain you have got them all? Remember their breeding cycle is quick, just miss one and it all starts again!

When we have completed the inspection we will know the access points, trails and nests of the mice.

A: Nothing. This a NO preparation job

A: NO! Mice don't drink water as they get moisture from their food. They chew the soft plastic mains pressure water pipes as pleasant past time. The mice are as surprised as you are when water comes gushing out of the mains water pipes.
Q: MICE: ARE EASY TO KILL, WHY SHOULD I PAY AN EXTERMINATOR?
A: True mice are stupid easy to kill. But they are rapid breeders. Without the experience of a Professional pest controller, you are unlikely to get them all. Best to trust the professional who nails all of them every time.
Q: MICE: HOW DID THE MICE GET INTO MY HOUSE?
